This ball is a absolute monster! Good Length through the fronts with a strong midlane motion with a lot of continuation. This is a great ball choice for inside angles when you are trying to open the lane up.

CFT ALPHA-MAX Coverstock

CFT alpha-max is our newest breakthrough in Chemical Friction Technology. The CFT alpha-max coverstock uses a higher concentration of the CFT additive in order to maximize the chemical system. The CFT alpha-max coverstock is the highest friction factor of any Brunswick ball to date. The secret is in the technology which creates more traction with chemical friction instead of mechanical friction. Being able to use less mechanical friction for hook, allows the ball to skid easier through the front part of the lane saving axis rotation for more energy on the backend.

The proven Asymmetric I-Block core enhances the CFT alpha-max coverstock to create maximum forgiveness, strong entry angles along with versatile drilling layouts

Ball Motion

This ball is off the chart! The C(System) alpha-max is so strong we had to add a column to the Ball Comparison chart and increase our Hook Potential scale to describe the ball motion. With its 4000-grit Siaair micro pad finish, the C(System) alpha-max offers the highest hook potential of any Brunswick ball to date. The C(System) alpha-max skids effortlessly through the front, saving axis rotation in the mid-lane to grab the backend for strong response to friction and cuts easily through the pins.

Reaction Setup

The C(System) alpha-max can be drilled using the standard drilling techniques developed for asymmetric bowling balls.

Lightweight Engineering

The unique core shape of each Brunswick ball is used for weights from 14 to 16 pounds. This approach to lightweight ball engineering provides bowlers with consistent ball reaction characteristics across this weight range. The same drilling instructions can be used for 12- and 13-pound balls. This is because Brunswick uses a generic core shape with an RG differential that is close enough to the 14-16 pound shape.

The Bank Pearl is the first ball in the 900 Global lineup to feature the S74 shell, the S74 shell combines with the SRC core to create a strong controllable skid-flip motion down the lane.

The Bank Pearl features the Self Righting Core (SRC). The SRC is both homogeneous in nature and also mono-monostatic. The unique core shape contains only one stable point. Unlike all other cores in the industry the SRC core will always move and twist to its stable position regardless of how or where it is placed. It will right it self!

Our testing indicated that when in rotation the core shape easily moves without resistance or hesitation in seeking the stable spot helping give the Bank and Bank Pearl greater ease in transitioning through the phases of ball motion. Other cores on the market that have multiple stable, or flat spots, must expend additional energy to move off of that position and thus not efficiently and effectively optimize energy transfer to yield maximum ball reaction. The SRC, once in motion, does not need to expend additional energy to seek its sole stable position and therefore creates optimum ball reaction for the bowler.

An additional benefit of the SRC is the value of the Moment Arm. The moment arm measures the likelihood of a force to rotate an object about any given axis. The larger the moment arm the greater amount of loping and imbalance forces the core will have during rotation. This effect leads to increased energy retention. The SRC has the greatest moment arm available. The combination of having the greatest moment arm and only one stable point creating the least resistance gives The Bank a unique and powerful motion.

Motiv Recon RX1

The Motiv Recon RX1 is Motiv’s answer to dry and light volume patterns. This ball by far has the cleanest coverstock of anything in the Motiv line. Rev Dominate players will find this ball useful on lighter volume league shots or high friction surfaces.

It's time to take control of the lanes! Plan a controlled strike against the competition with the MOTIV Recon RX1. It features the proven Recon inner core and is armored with MOTIVator-X coverstock for a controlled reaction on light oil, or shorter oil patterns.

The Recon core drives the RX1 into the heat of battle. It provides a higher RG to control revs and a moderate differential to smooth out reaction down the lane. The 15# RX1 has an RG of 2.59 and a .025 diff.

The MOTIVator-X cover on the Recon RX1 compliments the core perfectly for attacking light oil conditions. It tames friction on the lanes, yet still provides excellent recovery and hitting power.

The factory finish on the Silver Pearl RX1 is 4000 wet sand with Power Gel polish. This finish will provide excellent length on a light oil condition.

The Reverb outer core of the RX1 is a low-density polyester resin with pin piercing hardness and strength. Rather than absorb impact energy, this outer core reverberates energy as it explodes through the pins.
