This ball is a solid. There are discontinuing the Red/Blue Pearl, so now there will be a solid, hybrid, and pearl.

Was really hoping to see this Primal be an earlier turning version of the SR2, but so far from what I have seen….it's not. Does have a heavy roll and more skid snap than the Cruel. But it may not be for guys with a strong release. 7 gms thrown 4 OOB surface and 3 with a slight shine to the OOB surface. Again it seems that these Motiv balls have a big change once you slightly tweak the cover. Scary that small moves to the cover become such big changes to ball reaction shape on the same oil pattern. Makes it tough to dial in the correct reaction a bowler is looking for IMO. Seems to be less predictability in tweaking reaction. Seems to be my only concern so far with Motiv equipment. Luckily it hasn't hurt any yet. The biggest attribute that all these motiv balls have in common is they all hit like a Mack truck!

So for this new Primal….the jury is still out.
